Artificial Grass Suppliers in the UAE: A Trade Guide
What contractors, developers and facilities teams should ask artificial grass suppliers in the UAE before committing a project to a specification.

Choose between artificial grass suppliers in the UAE on three things, not the rate per square metre. Stock that's already in the country and can be held for your job. Test certificates they can send the same day. And a warranty you've read to the last line.
The warranty is the one contractors skip. It's also the one that costs them money.
What does a supplier's grass warranty actually cover?
On our landscaping grass it's a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. It covers defects in materials or manufacture that wear the grass out early, and serious fading or breakdown from UV.
Read the exclusions. Our warranty doesn't cover the installation, or any issue that stems from it. It doesn't cover matting of the pile, whatever the cause. And it's non-transferable, so only the original purchaser holds it.
So a base put down too thin, with ruts along the walking line, is an installation defect. So is a perimeter lifting away from the paving. Either one sits with whoever did the installation. If that was your crew, it's yours.
For trade buyers, our grass carries its full warranty as long as it's installed to our specification and professionally cleaned at least twice a year.
Settle two things at order stage: whose name goes on the purchase, and who's responsible for the base, in writing.

Is the grass in stock in the UAE, and can they hold it?
Ask before you price the job. Whether the client's chosen grass is in stock, and how long delivery or installation will take, are the two things most likely to move your handover date.
Maze Grass keeps its stock in its own warehouse in Dubai Industrial City, and it goes out on our own vehicles. Al Quoz is the showroom, not the store.
A supplier without stock is quoting you a container. That date can move with the sailing, and again at customs. You can't programme around it.
Phased jobs need a second question. Our terms exclude minor colour or texture variation between production batches from the warranty. So a phase two from a different batch can show along the join, and nobody's paying for that but you.
Order the full quantity in one go. Our terms give 21 days' free storage from purchase for materials waiting for delivery. Phases running longer than that? Agree the storage in writing before you order.
We supply in phases a lot, usually because a contractor has other work to finish before the grass goes in. In June 2026 we ran one for a large landscape contractor in the Meadows.
What should artificial grass suppliers in the UAE send you before you tender?
Three things, and all three should already be on file.
A specification sheet for the exact grass on your schedule. Pile height, stitch rate per square metre and warranty term should all be on it.
Independent test certificates. SGS tests our range for heavy metals, chemical content, fire performance and UV stability. We'll send the certificates when you ask.
Where it's manufactured, and who imports it. Most suppliers here are resellers, buying from the same factories as each other. Every question your consultant asks then travels through them to somebody else.
Get all three before the submission goes in, not when the consultant chases. A school, a hotel or a nursery will ask for them. A private villa usually won't, right up until the week it does.
What should the specification say besides pile height?
A specification that names a pile height and nothing else lets a cheaper grass meet it to the millimetre. Write these in as well:

Density catches people out. A short grass with a tight stitch can hold more blades in every square metre than a tall one stitched loosely. It's a look-and-feel figure, though. Don't let anyone sell it to you as a wear rating.
On silica sand, we put down 4 to 5 kg per square metre. Put a figure in the specification and ask for it on the delivery note. It's the easiest line in a submission to quietly drop.
Supply only, or supply and install?
Supply only suits a crew that's installed artificial grass before, on simple areas: open ground, straight edges, no awkward levels. You keep the installation margin. You also carry the installation risk, which is all of it.
Take supply and install when the client approved a particular finish and that finish is what gets judged, or when your own crew is busy elsewhere. Through our trade supply service for contractors, our team can install alongside your crews, with trade rates and a named account manager.
Where we're installing, we check the ground the day before: levelled, compacted and ready. Nothing holds the team up next morning.
Whoever installs it, the type of ground preparation comes from what's already on site, such as tiles, sand or natural grass. Never from the budget. Read how each type of ground preparation is done before you write the method statement.
FAQs
Can our client see the grass before signing off?
Yes. Your client can look at the grass and take a free sample pack away from our Al Quoz showroom. The manufacturer supplies the packs, so nothing is ever cut off a roll for you. I'd send every client home with one. Photos don't do it justice.
Will you quote against our specification?
Yes. Send the specification itself, not a summary of it. If it names a grass that's no longer made, it's far better to find that out before the tender goes in.
Do you deliver outside Dubai?
Yes, across the UAE. Delivery within Dubai is free, and there's a small charge outside it.
Get the warranty, the stock and the paperwork straight before you price, and the rest is installation.
